Salary: 45,000-55,000
Home Size: 1 bedded placement with a 2:1 young person
Ofsted Rating: Good
Hours: 8am - 4pm



Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)?
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of care at our Yardley Wood location.



Key Responsibilities:



Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for the young person in our care.

Manage and lead a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the delivery of exceptional care.



Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of the young person, promoting their emotional, social, and educational development.


Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining our "Good" Ofsted rating.


Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for the young person.


Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels effectively.



Requirements:



Proven experience in a managerial role within a children's residential setting, preferably working with young people with EBD.


Strong leadership and team management skills.


Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


A thorough understanding of relevant regulations and standards.


Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
