40 - 44,000 + 36 days holiday, 35 hour week, and fully home based contract

Opportunities where you really get to manage every aspect of an events calendar are pretty rare, where a company is looking to hire a candidate both to operate the events and related marketing, but also be the guiding light in terms of the strategy for both present and future.

Yet that's what we're currently working on, a fantastic fully home-based role for a leading not-for-profit organisation, playing a pivotal role in the future development of technical students and education across the UK. This is both a hands on and strategic role, they need somebody they can rely on, who can work autonomously and takes pride in outcome and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate we find, will be doing this:

Event Planning/Strategy: Identification of opportunities, defining goals, targeting audiences, budgets & financial planning. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of digital and traditional events.

Event Management: Planning and coordinating logistics for venues, vendors, catering, and technical. Managing timelines, overseeing event registration, attendance/attendee tracking & reporting.

Content and Promotional Activity: Develop event content, sponsorship brochures, presentations and collateral. Implement campaigns across email, social, and advertising. Collaborate to create content and landing pages. Manage Award categories, criteria, nomination and judging.

Sponsorship and Commercial Partnerships: Identify potential sponsors and partners. Foster relationships with ensure commercial promises are delivered. Manage contracts and agreements.

On-Site: Ensure a smooth experience for attendees, speakers, and sponsors. Oversee staff and volunteers. Handle any on-site issues or emergencies.

Post-Event: Conduct evaluations of success of against KPIs. Analyse feedback and implement improvement. Generate reports and insights for senior stakeholders.
