THE COMPANY

This established event production/AV agency based in the East Midlands pride themselves on service delivery. With an in-house warehouse and workshop they service end clients and agencies with state of the art AV equipment and full production management. Working across 100s of events per year – conferences, award ceremonies, experiential, production activations and exhibition build – no two days are ever the same! With a huge variety of large scale projects they work with some well-known, global brands across sectors including financial services, fashion, gaming and alcohol.

THE ROLE

As Technical Production Manager, you will be working within a well-known venue, maintaining client relationships and dealing with clients who are visiting and using the venue for events. You will also be required to use your technical expertise and assist with the set up of rooms whilst ensuring the technical equipment is ready and working

Your daily duties will typically include:

• Main point of contact for production services for the venue• Building and developing long term client relationships through exceptional client care• Advising on technical solutions for live, virtual and hybrid events• Accompanying venue sales staff on show-rounds and supporting sales efforts• Providing quotations, drawings and specifications• Arranging and booking crew and equipment logistics for events• Be the main contact at the venue for all rigging in the main conference suite• Responsible for all equipment residing at the venue

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, ideally from within a technical supplier, production agency or events venue, teamed with the ability to work well with new and existing clients – based from the venue, this is a busy and fast-paced environment so we are looking for candidates who are team players and can work under pressure.
