Our client, is seeking an Audit Governance Project Lead to oversee the governance supervision of major audit firms, foster impactful change, and contribute to shaping the future of the audit profession within the UK. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects evaluating the implementation of the Audit Firm Governance Code at large audit firms.
  • Assess governance aspects of Operational Separation for the largest audit firms.
  • Drive engagement with senior leadership and Independent Non-Executives of major audit firms.
  • Present key findings from monitoring activities to firms, influencing strategic changes.
  • Contribute to the design and application of governance-related policies.
  • Support the effective management of the Audit Market Supervision team.
  • Play a pivotal role in developing strategic decisions for supervision approaches.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree and/or professional qualification in governance, audit, or a regulatory field
  • Understanding of audit practices, governance implementation, and market supervision
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Chartered Governance Professional qualification or similar is advantageous
