Role Overview:

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to support the senior leadership team and provide strategic financial insights of our client. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to partner with various business units, drive financial performance, and contribute to key decision-making processes. You will play a crucial role in shaping business strategy and ensuring financial targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with department heads and key stakeholders to provide financial guidance and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure business objectives are met, providing actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Cost Management: Support with cost management strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and monitor key financial metrics.
  • Reporting: Develop and deliver clear, concise, and insightful financial reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Work to streamline financial processes and ensure efficiency in reporting, planning, and analysis.
  • Commercial Awareness: Assist with identifying opportunities for business growth, including driving profitability and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior finance staff, helping them develop their skills and capabilities.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in a finance business partnering role.
  • Strong experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence business decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly and effectively to senior management.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
