Our client are a privately owned, forward-thinking insurance business, which has received recent investment to accelerate the next stage of its development. A strategic thinking and experienced Finance Director is sought to join their executive team.

About the Role:

As Finance Director, you will not only oversee the financial accounting and regulatory reporting but also be at the heart of driving the company’s growth strategy. You’ll provide key insights into business performance, financial risk, and growth initiatives while playing a pivotal role in evaluating investment opportunities. You will work closely with the leadership team and investor partners to ensure the financial health and success of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a long-term financial strategy.
  • Providing in-depth financial analysis on business performance, growth initiatives, and investment opportunities.
  • Leading M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
  • Managing the finance team and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborating with investors to drive aligned financial goals.

About You:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with extensive experience in financial leadership within regulated financial services.
  • A proven track record in M&A, joint ventures, and working with investors.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to influence at the highest level.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
