Finance Manager

Job Title: Group Finance ManagerLocation: Birmingham (Hybrid working - 3 days on site)Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus

Robert Half is proud to be partnering with a leading Private Equity-backed business in Birmingham to recruit a Group Finance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic finance professional to join a large, fast-growing organisation with a corporate culture that offers fantastic progression prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage fixed assets accounting and lease accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Take ownership of reporting under IFRS16, US GAAP, and SOX regulations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all group accounting functions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and legal, to ensure seamless financial integration.
• Lead key finance projects and initiatives, driving continuous process improvements within the group finance function.
• Provide strategic input into financial decision-making, reporting to senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), ideally from a Top 10 firm.
• A minimum of 1 role in industry, preferably within a large listed or Private Equity-backed group accounting environment.
• Strong experience in fixed assets accounting and lease accounting.
• In-depth knowledge and working experience with IFRS16, US GAAP, and SOX compliance.
• Ability to thrive in a large corporate environment, with a proactive and analytical mindset.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
