We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our financial accounting and reporting team, overseeing Fixed Asset and IFRS16 requirements for our UK business. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting to our centralised group function, lead the external audit process, complete statutory accounts in line with international accounting standards, and maintain the integrity of the balance sheet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage UK&I group reporting on a monthly basis
  • Assist with the consolidation of P&L and balance sheet budgeting and forecasting
  • Oversee intercompany processes with multiple group stakeholders
  • Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure accounts are complete and accurate
  • Continuously review and improve processes for efficiency
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets from diverse sources
  • Manage part-qualified accountants, focusing on balance sheet reporting
  • Coordinate the external audit, serving as the main point of contact for auditors
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with changes in international accounting standards, ensuring compliance in financial statements
  • Provide technical support on complex accounting matters
Qualifications & Skills:
  • ACA, CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualification
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate data from multiple sources
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Effective planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a broad range of tasks under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards and updates
  • Experience with SAP/Cognos (desirable)
