We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to join our financial accounting and reporting team. You will be responsible for leading the preparation of statutory accounts and ensuring the accuracy of monthly reporting to the centralised group function. The role also involves managing the external audit process, completing statutory accounts in line with international accounting standards, and maintaining the integrity of the balance sheet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regularly reviewing progress against plans, identifying risks and issues
  • Acting as a liaison between key individuals in Group Finance to gather essential information
  • Serving as the main point of contact for external auditors
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accounts are complete
  • Continuously improving financial processes for greater efficiency
  • Analyzing large datasets from multiple sources
  • Managing part-qualified accountants on balance sheet reporting and pension processes
  • Preparing ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Staying updated on UK tax requirements and international accounting standards
  • Providing technical support on complex accounting matters
Qualifications & Skills:
  • ACA, CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualification
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience with SAP/Cognos (desirable)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of international accounting standards
