Our client is a well-regarded and high growth medium sized (£300m T/O) Group of Companies with interest within Manufacturing, Sales & Distribution (UK and International)

As a result of internal promotion, FRS have been engaged to assist with the recruitment of a Qualified Accountant to join the UK Business.

This role will afford some hybrid working and will be based out the clients UK Offices close to Sutton Coldfield and therefore easily commutable from across the wider West Midlands and Staffordshire area.

Reporting into the UK Financial Controller this is a broad and wide-reaching role working across Financial, Commercial and Management Accounting for a range of portfolio businesses.

  • Preparation and presentation of management accounts with supporting commentary and analysis
  • Ownership of Balance Sheet accounts and reconciliations
  • Supporting the preparation of financial statements and regulatory returns for business Units
  • Preparing financial analysis to support management decision making
  • Collaborative cross-departmental working to inform the accuracy of accounting entries and provide business partnering
  • Supporting ongoing development of internal systems and processes to become best in class
  • Supporting annual audit process
  • Providing reporting as required to support annual budgets and reforecasts
  • Ad hoc analysis and business partnering as required

The ideal candidate will be formally Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) either newly or with PQE and have the desire to operate within a varied and progressive position within a rapidly expanding business.

This client operates a finance dept that highly commercial and outward facing. As such candidates must be demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable business partnering with individuals across the wider business.

Previous experience gained within Manufacturing, Sales & Distribution is desirable however this particular company has a strong history of developing those working within Accountancy Practice seeking a first move into industry or second move within Industry also.

A basic salary of £45,000 to £60,000 DOE / Qualification can be offered coupled with excellent benefits, hybrid working and bonus can be offered.
