Our client is a well renowned global real estate business that is looking to boost their current financial team with a new member. You will be representing the accounts, as well as, acting as the bridge between clients and stakeholders. In order to thrive at this, you will need to have excellent people skills as well as a firm knowledge of property accounts.
Liaising with important clients will be an integral part of this role. You will have to present during client meetings, as well as managing expectations. In order to do this, you will need to have prior experience liaising with important stakeholders or directors at some level. Some typical duties you will also be exposed to will be: conducting root analysis and implementing controls to enhance processes, monitoring and validating output from offshore teams and handling mobilisation and demobilisation activities for clients.
The ideal candidate will be a confident and outgoing employee with a genuine love for accounting, who will be able to work independently. This business has a dynamic and fast paced environment; therefore, you will need to be a creative problem solver with strong analytical skills.
What you'll need:
- Some previous experience with tax and statutory accounting would be beneficial.
- Experience dealing with key stakeholders and clients, this is a crucial part of this role so you will need to have evidence of being comfortable with this aspect of the role.
- Be able to work to urgent and unexpected deadlines, these will sometimes come up and dealing with them efficiently will enable you to reduce the need for same day service requests.
- Previous knowledge of service charge is required as this will be a substantial aspect of the role.
