Reporting to the Director of Forensics, you will oversee a caseload and develop two junior members of staff. You will also be tasked with growing out the team through recruitment and business development.

A successful independent practice with multiple office in the Midlands. Director owned and turning over c £10m across a number of service lines.

Description

  • Business valuations, Matrimonial Finance, Partnership and shareholder disputes, Contractual disputes, Expert Determination, Loss of profit claims and ad-hoc investigation work.
  • Liaising with solicitors, clients and other experts on a case by case basis
  • Liaising with parties to disputes to gather relevant information and evidence.
  • Assisting the department director with investigation, research and report writing on cases.
  • Producing expert witness reports in own name.
  • Manage a portfolio of cases ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Undertake business development activity to promote the department services and generate workflow

Profile

  • ACA / ACCA qualified
  • Post qualified experience in a forensic accounting position
  • Experience of accounts preparation, corporate & personal tax returns and audit is a plus
  • Business acumen
  • Strong attention to deal
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
