An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced FP&A Manager to join a growing and innovative finance team at a leading commercial Client based in Birmingham. This role offers the chance to work on a hybrid basis, contributing to a transformative growth strategy supported by internal system enhancements and external acquisitions. In this pivotal position, you will collaborate closely with the finance and executive teams to support the delivery of strategic financial goals. The role requires expertise in financial modelling, analysis, and leadership to drive the organisation’s objectives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine detailed financial models for budgeting and operational goal-setting
  • Lead financial analyses to evaluate business scenarios, assess risks, and support investment decisions, including M&A activities
  • Prepare regular performance reports for the executive team
  • Enhance reporting capabilities by supporting the introduction and development of new systems and applications
  • Demonstrate technical excellence and deliver high-quality service
  • Collaborate with team members to promote knowledge sharing and provide feedback
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and ensure adherence to service standards and KPIs

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA qualification)
  • Exceptional financial modeling and analysis skills, with proficiency in Power BI
  • Strong communication skills for presenting complex information to diverse audiences
  • Proven financial leadership and team management experience, gained in a sizeable, multi-sited commercial business

  • Lives within 1 hour journey of Birmingham with own transport
