Description

  • Strategic Business Partnering: Act as a trusted financial advisor, providing insightful analysis and strategic guidance to drive profitability, cost efficiency, and business growth.

  • Commercial Insight & Value Creation: Deliver actionable financial intelligence to enhance decision-making across the business. Drive margin improvement, cost control, and operational efficiencies to maximise value.

  • Financial Transformation & Systems Leadership: Lead the enhancement of financial systems and processes to ensure scalability and robustness. Whether optimising existing systems or implementing new solutions, your expertise will be instrumental in supporting future growth. SAP experience is desirable, but strong system leadership in any platform is welcomed.

  • Change & Performance Leadership: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, fostering financial excellence and operational agility. Lead transformation initiatives that enhance commercial outcomes and drive competitive advantage.

  • KPI & Financial Reporting: Oversee the production of timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making at every level.

  • External & Regulatory Relationships: Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and financial partners, ensuring compliance and strengthening the company's financial standing.

  • Technical & Statutory Expertise: Oversee statutory accounts, compliance, and complex financial matters, leveraging external technical specialists where needed to ensure regulatory alignment.

Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive senior financial leadership experience.

  • Commercially Driven Leader with a proven track record of influencing strategic decisions, optimising financial performance, and driving business value.

  • Systems Transformation Expertise, with experience in financial systems optimisation or implementation. SAP experience is a plus but not essential.

  • Strategic & Resilient Thinker, able to challenge existing practices, navigate complexity, and drive meaningful change.

  • Senior Leadership Presence, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and inspire teams to achieve commercial excellence.

  • Experience in Costing & Stock Management within a business where these areas significantly impact profitability and operations.
