The Head of Transaction Services will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and developing a high-performing team across multiple UK locations (Manchester, Birmingham and London). This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional with an entrepreneurial mindset to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

The Head of Transaction Services will lead and manage transaction advisory engagements, providing financial due diligence and strategic insights. This role requires a passion for working with high-growth businesses and a strong focus on client relationship management and business origination.

Responsibilities Included

  • Lead and manage financial due diligence engagements for acquisitions, disposals, and growth capital transactions.
  • Provide strategic, value-driven advice to entrepreneurial clients, tailoring insights to their unique business models.
  • Proactively identify and originate new business opportunities within the lower mid-market and OMB sectors.
  • Build and lead a high-performing transaction services team, fostering an agile, deal-driven culture.
  • Oversee transaction services operations across multiple UK locations, ensuring consistency and quality of service.

Skills and Attributes

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in transaction services, financial due diligence, or M&A advisory.
  • Proven track record of deal origination and managing high-value transactions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage business owners and investors.
  • Strong financial analysis, modelling, and valuation skills.
