- Oversee the day-to-day management of the income collection team, ensuring processes are followed and targets are achieved.
- Support the team to maximise rent collection, minimise arrears, and provide advice and assistance to tenants facing financial challenges.
- Take responsibility for complex arrears cases, including preparing and attending court when necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to ensure a joined-up approach to income recovery and tenancy sustainment.
- As Income Manager, you will also contribute to shaping policies and procedures to ensure continuous service improvement.
- Proven experience working in income recovery within social housing.
- Previous experience as an Income Manager, or demonstrable experience supporting or mentoring staff in a similar setting.
- Confident handling legal processes related to arrears recovery.
- Strong knowledge of arrears procedures, welfare benefits, and tenancy support services.
- Passionate about delivering a high-quality, customer-focused income service.
- Competitive salary of £37,000 - £39,000.
