Job Title: Insolvency Senior Manager

Location: Birmingham

About the Role:A well-established and growing restructuring and insolvency practice is looking for an experienced insolvency professional to join either as an Insolvency Senior Manager OR Insolvency Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to lead on complex corporate insolvency cases, manage client relationships, and play a key role in the firm's strategic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including administrations, liquidations, and CVAs.
  • Provide leadership and support to a team of insolvency professionals, ensuring cases progress efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including creditors, directors, legal advisors, and financial institutions.
  • Review and approve statutory reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with insolvency legislation.
  • Identify business development opportunities, contributing to the firm's continued growth and market presence.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to shape strategy and improve operational efficiencies.

Key Requirements:

  • Ideally JIEB qualified or those open to sitting the qualification in the future.
  • Significant experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring, with a proven track record of managing complex cases.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK insolvency legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify and develop new opportunities for the business.
