Our client, an international manufacturing business in the West Midlands is looking for an Interim FP&A Consultant to support the director with a new FP&A function. This person must have extensive experience operating in high pressure environment and will be responsible to building and designing short-term cash flow models and 3-statement models.

Location: Birmingham

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: £500 - £600 a day

Key Responsibilities of the Interim FP&A Consultant

  • Build and design short-term cash flow models and 3-statement models
  • Develop and lead the financial planning and forecasting process for the group
  • Establish financial targets, preparing financial models, conducting scenario analysis and communicating results to senior management and externally
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support short/long term strategic planning, sensitivity analysis and scenario planning
  • Assess the impact of various scenarios on financial performance and guide decision-making processes accordingly

Key Essentials of the Interim FP&A Consultant

  • Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Experience working in licensed trade and/or FMCG environment is desirable
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear and actionable insights
