We are seeking a highly-motivated Internal Audit Manager to join our FTSE 100 client's Internal Audit team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and performing internal audits within the Insurance industry.

Description
- Manage and perform internal audits across various departments
- Develop, implement and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practice
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk
- Develop corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on audit processes and policies
- Collaborate with external auditors as necessary
- Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management's interventions
- Report to and advise management on the company's financial status and compliance
Profile
A successful Internal Audit Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Insurance or a relevant field
- Proven experience in the Insurance industry or financial services
- Proven experience within Internal or External Audit
- Strong knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, techniques and test and sampling methods
- Ability to the hit the ground running
Job Offer
- A competitive salary range of approximately £70,000 - £77,000 plus annual bonus
- Hybrid working environment with 2 days onsite per week (depending on business requirements)
