As a Senior Manager / Associate Director in the Financial Services Advisory team, you will lead treasury advisory and internal audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of Financial Services and Corporate clients. The role includes managing treasury process reviews, system improvements, and business development initiatives. You will oversee project planning and delivery, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with senior leaders to build strong client relationships. Recognised as a subject matter expert in treasury management, you will provide valuable insights and contribute to the continued growth of this business area.

Description

  • Lead treasury advisory projects, including bench marking, process improvement, and treasury system implementation.
  • Manage the planning and execution of internal audit engagements, ensuring adherence to methodology and quality standards.
  • Drive business development activities, identifying opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering their professional development and enhancing team performance.
  • Collaborate with senior management and partners to improve service delivery and explore cross-selling opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on treasury management, financial risk, and governance matters.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and best practices, particularly within the Financial Services sector.

Profile

  • Strong experience in treasury management within Financial Services and/or Corporate environments, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving process improvements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Financial Services sector, corporate governance, and UK regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in managing advisory and internal audit engagements, from initial planning through to final reporting.
  • Recognised qualifications in treasury, accountancy, or internal audit
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a focus on business development and team management.
  • Commercially focused, with a proactive and client-centred approach.
