Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students are on task and engaged in their learning.
  • Follow pre-set lesson plans and ensure students complete the set work to the best of their ability.
  • Maintain classroom discipline, following the school’s behaviour policy.
  • Provide support to students with a range of needs, including those with additional learning requirements.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as marking and recording student progress where necessary.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Liaise with teaching staff, senior leaders and support teams to ensure student needs are met.

  • 6 months teaching experience working in the UK.
  • A degree.
  • Right To Work in the UK.
  • 2 sufficient references.
  • Creative, initiative approach to teaching.
  • A desire to create a positive difference to pupils.
