SAP ABAP Developer

Your new companyMy client is embarking on a digital transformation programme and replacing a Cobol-coded order and despatch system. A number of gaps have been identified, and we are currently seeking a SAP ABAP Developer.

Your new roleAs a SAP ABAP Developer, you will be able to work autonomously to meet project timelines and drive out resolutions to problems. You will take ownership of accepted tasks with a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.What you'll need to succeedBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Solid experience in SAP ABAP Development.Completed 3 full lifecycle SAP implementation / rollout projects.Experience of implementing ABAP Programming, preferably Object Oriented.Proficient in API interface developments using CDS Views, OData services, RFC, BAPI, IDOC, Web Services, Proxy, SOAP & REST interfaces.Strong experience in implementing development objects like Reports, Data dictionary objects, Function modules, BADI, BAPI, User-Exits, Enhancements, Scripts, Smart forms and Adobe forms.Experience of using POSTMAN for testing APIs.Good to have experience in the RESTful ABAP programming (RAP) model and ASAPIO Integration with SAP ERP.What you'll get in return £Market ratesWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
