Part-Time HR Assistant

Location: Aston, Birmingham Salary: Up to £29,000 FTE 25 to 30 hours

I am seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Part-Time HR Assistant to support my client's HR team in delivering efficient and effective HR services. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a global business while maintaining work-life balance. The successful candidate will assist with various HR functions, including administrative tasks, recruitment support, employee documentation, and HR system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including managing HR documents and maintaining employee records.

  • Assist with recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews, posting job ads, and onboarding new employees.

  • Support employee engagement initiatives and internal HR communications.

  • Ensure HR databases and systems are updated accurately.

  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration by coordinating relevant documentation.

  • Handle general HR queries and provide guidance on company policies and procedures.

  • Support HR compliance by ensuring all employee records meet legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in organising HR-related events, training sessions, and meetings.

Key Requirements:

  • Dayforce experience is essential
  • Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is preferred.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems (preferred).

  • A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

  • CIPD qualification or working towards one is a plus.
