SF Recruitment is seeking an experienced interim Head of People Operations for a public sector organisation. This position would require a seasoned HR professional with a broad understanding of human resources functions, including strategic planning, system implementation, and process improvement. Hours: 37 hours per week (Hybrid working available - 1 day in the office) Day rate: £200-£250 per day Key qualifications and responsibilities for the role include: - CIPD Qualification: Essential for demonstrating HR expertise. - Comprehensive HR Knowledge: Must be well-versed in all HR areas such as employee relations, recruitment, learning & development, and organisational design. - Reward Strategy Development: Ability to create and execute compensation and benefits strategies. - Process Improvement & Systems Implementation: Proven experience with enhancing HR processes and successfully implementing HR systems, particularly within shared service frameworks. - Strategic Thinking: Must have the ability to align HR operations with organisational goals through careful planning and analysis. - Relationship Management & Influence: Strong interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders and influence decisions at various levels within the organisation. - Public Sector Experience: Preferred, given the unique challenges and regulatory environment.
