HR Manager

Location: Birmingham (hybrid working)
Role Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to lead a HR function, supporting growth and team engagement. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with HR experience who is passionate about creating a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage HR and Office Administration teams, emphasising employee engagement, well-being, and operational efficiencies.
- Support policy reviews, ensure legal compliance, and develop new HR processes as needed.
- Partner with managers on capability, conduct, and absence management; conduct interviews; and provide HR guidance.
- Oversee recruitment, new hire processes, and HR-related onboarding.
- Design customer-focused training for all levels, maintain records, and assess training effectiveness.
- Track and report on HR KPIs, supporting improvements to meet company goals.
- Foster an inclusive environment, support engagement initiatives, and promote a healthy work-life balance.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong people leadership skills in a HR capacity.
- CIPD Level 5 or working towards this qualification. Â
- Knowledgeable in UK employment law and compliance.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a varied HR role ideally in a smaller business.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
