HR Operations Manager, Salary up to £55k PA, working on a 6-month fixed term contract (must be available for an immediate start), Remote / Home based

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager who is ready for an immediate start to work on a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract for a national hire business. In this role you’ll coach and lead a remote HR team to deliver essential core HR services, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and offboarding.  Applicants will need to have experience in a similar HR Operations Manager / leadership role with HR team management responsibilities.

The role / requirements:

  • Proven team management and mentorship skills.
  • Ability to lead process improvements and drive results.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with HR compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to analyse data and metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Strategic mindset to align HR operations with organisational goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with HR technology, including onboarding tools, payroll systems, and performance management software.
  • Proficiency in Excel tools for reporting.
  • Adept at resolving conflicts, troubleshooting issues, and adapting to changing priorities.
