SF Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading third-sector organisation to recruit a dynamic and experienced People Business Partner for a six-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert HR support across a broad range of areas, including employee relations, policy development, organisational change, business planning, delivery of people strategy. You will play a key role in fostering strong relationships with unions and work closely with stakeholders to drive positive cultural and organisational transformation. Job Title: People Business Partner (Fixed-Term Contract) Location: Birmingham Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed Term (Potential for Extension) Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hybrid (Flexible Working Available and open to 4 days per week). Benefits: 25 days holiday + BH + 3 days over Christmas + 3 days volunteering, enhanced pension, excellent benefits package Key Responsibilities: - Act as a strategic partner to key stakeholders, offering expert HR advice and guidance. - Manage complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and tribunal cases as required. - Develop and implement employment policies and initiatives to support organisational goals. - Influence, negotiate, and collaborate with trade unions to drive positive change. - Support and advise on organisational development and change management initiatives. - Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices. About You: - Proven generalist HR experience. - Strong background in employee relations, policy development, and change management. - Experience working with and negotiating with trade unions. - Ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organisation. - Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. - CIPD qualification (or extensive equivalent experience). - A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
