Our client is an independently owned furniture retailer who are enjoying a rapid phase of growth. They put gorgeous, stylish furniture within everybody’s reach and have an immersive culture where everyone can make a difference. 

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an additional Regional HR Business Partner to join thier team.  This is a field-based position covering the Midlands, to Scotland with an ideal base for ease of commute being the West Midlands area.  You’ll initially cover a region of 10 stores, along with a fulfilment centre, with the expectations to take on additional fulfilment centres once you are fully immersed into your role.  The position will also involve occasional visits to company head quarters in Slough so we are looking for a HR Business Partner who enjoys working across multiple sites, and is comfortable travelling.

This is both a strategic and hands on role, and we are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to take on a fast paced & varied role covering, HR projects, ER, Recruitment, Data led decision making, and Talent & Succession Planning.  As part of your role, you will be a key point of contact for HR related queries. You will be results driven, be solutions focused, and will bring exceptional stakeholder skills to the role.

HRBP – Responsibilities

- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.

- Create people-centric plans to meet business demands.

- Provide insights from employee data to improve processes, employee engagement and policy alignment across the business.

- Working with the Regional Managers you will work to ensure you recruit and attract the best talent.

- Ensure that managers can coach our colleagues effectively, so they fulfil their performance potential.

- Take the lead on a wide range of HR projects.

HRBP – Required Skills

- Flexible in your approach. You need to be just as comfortable in the detail and day to day as you are in strategy.

- Adventurous, with a desire to embrace challenges and change.

- Previous experience of working within a fast-paced Regional HRBP/HR Manager role.

- CIPD qualified is desirable, although not essential for the role.

- Be a great relationship builder, with proven partnering skills and clear commercial acumen.

- Excellent communication and influencing skills.

- Solutions orientated mind-set with the ability to work accurately at pace and cope with ambiguity

- Strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to deliver difficult messages

- Experience of leading key projects for the business.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
