An exciting new opportunity has become available for a IT Applications Manager to come on board working for a leading global professional services firm.
Overseeing the UK Digital Applications and Workplace infrastructure, which predominantly operates through cloud solutions, to ensure operations adhere to established standards while promoting KPIs, agility, automation, and optimization
Provide an internal escalation point for Digital Application and Workplace issues.
Monitor and maintain data processing and data integrations
Partner with Architecture to drive future roadmaps
Act as the Service / Product owner for all defined applications and Workplace within the team's area of accountability.
Represent the area in CAB meetings, assessing impact and risk of change whilst owning the approval process
Manage team training and development plans to support career and continuous development.
Arrange team into optimal areas of system specialisation, whilst maintaining a broad and sustainable level of knowledge across the team and all applications
Collaborate with the development/integrations/data teams to ensure supportable solution delivery and quality assure systems as they move through solution lifecycle.
Oversee and manage third party contracts.
Deliver projects and change to improve systems manageability & supportability (in house & 3rd party) within the Change Management process.
Collaborate with the project delivery teams to ensure resourcing and support models are in place for new change and transformation activities
Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving & delivery skills coupled with a good understanding of ITIL framework.
Experience in supporting a combination Cloud (Azure) and SaaS based solutions.
Ideally, experience of managing and supporting key technologies and critical systems:

Data/Database Management
Power Applications
Virtual Desktop Delivery
M365 Services
CRM platforms including Dynamics 365
SaaS and Private Cloud (Azure) Application Delivery
