My client is seeking an experienced Oceanfreight Import/Export Clerk to join their team in Birmingham.
The position offers a salary of up to £35,000, along with bonuses and additional benefits.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of experience in oceanfreight operations, including import and/or export experience.
Key responsibilities include managing oceanfreight shipments, producing relevant documents, and providing excellent customer service.

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Oceanfreight Import/Export Clerk to join its growing team in Birmingham. You will be working for a privately owned business within a friendly, sociable team.

ROLE: Oceanfreight Import/Export Clerk

SALARY: Up to £35k plus bonuses and other benefits

HOURS: Monday to Friday 9 am - 5.30 pm

We are looking for a committed team player with experience of completing oceanfreight shipments from start to finish.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

As an oceanfreight operator you will be required to have a minimum of 6 months experience as follows:

Oceanfreight experience
Import and/or Export experience
Quoting/following up on quotations
Opening/closing files
Producing relevant oceanfreight documents
Customs Entries
Liaising with carriers
Providing first class customer service
IATA certified
Attention to detail
Strong team player
