Construction Solicitor – Associate | Up to 3 Years' PQE | Birmingham

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious Associate to join this national Construction team at the Birmingham office. This is an excellent chance for a Solicitor with up to 3 years' PQE to work with some of the best in the business, primarily focusing on contentious matters, but with opportunities to be involved in non-contentious work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Advising on a broad range of predominantly contentious construction matters, with the potential to work on non-contentious projects
  • Collaborating closely with experienced partners and colleagues on both domestic and international construction matters
  • Engaging in business development activities and fostering client relationships
  • Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to expand your expertise

About the Team:

  • Our nationally recognised Construction & Engineering team advises on all types of construction and engineering projects, working with contractors, developers and housebuilders
  • We handle high-profile, international projects and our client base includes major developers, national housebuilders, contractors, professional consultants, local authorities, universities, football clubs and automotive clients
  • Our team’s broad expertise within construction is highly regarded, with several of our partners being featured in the Legal 500 UK

What We’re Looking For:

  • Up to 3 years' PQE, with a focus on contentious construction matters
  • Solid understanding of fundamental construction law
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail, coupled with professionalism and discretion
  • A strong team player with the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels
