Employment Solicitor

Employment Solicitor, 4+ Years PQE, Birmingham, £60,000 - £75,000 (DOE) – My client is currently looking for a confident and experienced Employment Solicitor to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team. JOB REF:9503.

THE ROLE:
• You’ll be involved in a broad range of employment law matters, with the opportunity to handle both contentious and non-contentious work.
• This includes tribunal litigation, TUPE advice, due diligence, contractual reviews, and advisory work on restructures, redundancies, and employee relations issues.
• You will play a key role in managing client relationships, supervising junior lawyers, and supporting business development initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing complex and high-profile litigation, including advocacy
• Advising on TUPE matters, including drafting/negotiating warranties, indemnities, and consultation processes
• Supporting transactional due diligence as part of multidisciplinary teams
• Advising on redundancy and restructure processes
• Handling day-to-day advisory work including contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
• Delivering client training and contributing to seminars and business development
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE
• Broad and robust employment law experience, preferably across our key sectors
• Strong litigation and/or advocacy skills, with a calm, confident approach
• Commercial awareness and the ability to give pragmatic, client-focused advice
• A collaborative mindset with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, organised approach to workload and team involvement
• Passion for mentoring and business development
