Manufacturing Manager
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary: 42,000 per annum + Available overtime worth up to 20,000 per annum
Monday - Friday
Our client, a leading Engineering company based in Birmingham, have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager. The successful candidate will come from a mechanical engineering background, with strong leadership qualities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assisting sales team with accurate quoting and site visits as required
- Identifying material requirements
- Identifying machining/fabricating requirements
- Identifying tooling requirements
- Ordering non-standard parts and materials
- Liaising with suppliers
- Liaising with customers
- Budget control during progress of all jobs
- Preparing WIP's for invoicing ie; labour, materials etc.
- Ensuring quality standards
- Ensuring safe working practices
- Training personnel
- Booking in jobs/setting sales orders
- General administrative duties
