Role Description:

One of our clients, a leading smart technology facilities service provider working within the commercial cleaning industry, is currently looking for an Operations Manager to join their growing Team. Our client is a real innovator, constantly striving and achieving their goals with regards to sustainability, smart innovations and customer service. As Operations Manager, your role will be covering sites from Milton Keynes to Manchester, and you will be managing supervisors and cleaners to ensure standard are maintained and exceeded. The ideal Operations Manager will have proven experience in a similar role and will have excellent communication and operational leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Site based working

  • Site training

  • Audits

  • Recruit, develop and train new starters

  • Manage Supervisors on some sites (schools) and Cleaners on other sites. Site numbers are low in order to support the large geographical area in which this role covers

  • Ensure the delivery of cleaning meets agreed standards/Site specifications through the completion of cleaning schedules

  • Ensure all areas are kept clean through operatives/supervisors completing Quality

  • Ensure all work orders are responded to quickly and efficiently.

  • Develop and train new starters / operatives

  • Keep clear lines of communication open with clients

  • Liaise with colleagues to identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

  • Experience in management, operations and leadership

  • Ability to build positive working relationships with people of all levels

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Solid understanding of the industry and experience in a similar environment
