Payroll Advisor - Join a People-First Culture!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Advisor with internal Payroll experience to join a leading provider of legal services. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to take the lead in managing payroll processes alongside an outsourced provider, while also contributing to the development of compensation models for the business.

In this key role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accurate and timely payroll administration, managing employee data, responding to payroll-related queries, and driving continuous improvements in payroll systems.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Manage employee data for payroll processing, including salary details, deductions, bonuses, tax codes, and bank information.
  • Support the development and implementation of compensation and benefits policies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and legal requirements.
  • Handle payroll, benefits, and compensation queries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with legal and tax regulations.
  • Contribute to the annual compensation review process, including salary adjustments and market benchmarking.


What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in internal payroll administration, with a strong understanding of compensation and benefits.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly in payroll-related data and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with payroll systems.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
