The Head of Pre-Construction will play a crucial role in leading the pre-construction function, ensuring that all tenders and projects are managed to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Lead the pre-construction process, including bid management, project planning, cost estimation, and design coordination.
- Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to develop bespoke proposals that meet technical, financial, and operational requirements.
- Manage project budgets and schedules, including detailed cost estimates and construction schedules.
- Oversee the preparation of all construction documents, including plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that all project goals are achieved.

Skills and Attributes
- Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills.
- Likely to be a qualified Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager, degree preferable.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to scrutinise and verify supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Proficiency in reading drawings and design specifications.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
