Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the production department to ensure quality outputs and a safe working environment.
Foster relationships with internal stakeholders, including engineering, sales, and finance teams.
Manage production schedules and act as the central contact for sales administrators.
Plan and communicate capacity and demand within the rail manufacturing process.
Train and upskill the team, maintaining an up-to-date skills matrix for operatives.
Coordinate with purchasing and stores to ensure components are available for manufacturing.
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven experience in a team leadership role within production or manufacturing.
Exceptional leadership abilities to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
