Key Responsibilities for Business Development Manager:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial air compressor market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business targets and objectives.
  • Generate leads, set up meetings, and present products and services to potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the technical and service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to promote the company.

Requirements for Business Development Manager:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the industrial equipment, air compressor, or related sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships and manage multiple accounts.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to travel across the Midlands and occasionally beyond for client meetings.
