What will you be doing?

  • To grow and manage your own territory by having ownership and being accountable for driving new business to achieve growth targets.
  • Demonstrating return on investment through value led conversations and analysing your own performance using your own initiative.
  • Customer focussed through demonstrating an understanding of customer needs, managing customers contractual requirements, requests and concerns as well as nurturing good customer relationships with various stakeholders.
  • High focus on sales development with full knowledge of opportunities within the geographic or customer portfolio you are responsible for.
  • Work closely with all key internal stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service and share of wallet opportunities.
  • Demonstrate an ability to win through collaboration e.g. solicits and shares ideas, views, and resources with positive and tangible results.
  • Encourage high performance with setting high expectations from staff as well as taking responsibility for developing their own skillset and knowledge.
  • Ensure customer service level meets company objectives, through measuring and taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Develop a sales plan to exceed sales and cash profit budget including focus areas of new business wins, EB and digital conversion and maintain price files and notifying customers of increases, managing expectations to ensure business is retained.
  • Highly involved with strategy and planning to maximise pro-active activity through daily planning, quarterly meetings, utilising other departments such as the customer service team, setting clear agendas, recognising the need for a vision to establish short-term goals for the business and overseeing business proposals.
