Long Term Futures Recruitment is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in B26. This rewarding role involves providing personalised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they have the tools and encouragement to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language needs.
  • Assist in delivering individualised learning plans tailored to students' needs.
  • Support students' social, emotional, and academic development in the classroom and during interventions.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to monitor progress and address any challenges effectively.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or have relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Have experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting.
  • Be proactive in adapting activities to suit a variety of learning styles and abilities.
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping children overcome barriers to learning.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
