SEND Primary Teaching Assistant (Alternative Provision)

Full Time (Term Time)

Tradewind Recruitment are working closely with a large primary school based in Northfield, Birmingham to recruit an experienced and qualified SEND Teaching Assistant to work with children within the school's alternative provision.

This role will predominantly be focused supporting children within a specialised class focusing on supporting high needs children in Lower KS2, all children have EHCPs and are working towards individualised targets.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a level 2/3

Have experience working with children in UK schools

Obtain an Enhanced Child workforce DBS certificate

Experience of working with SEN children

Confidence in managing behaviour

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
