The Role:We're seeking a skilled supply chain Operations Assistant for our International client to manage the seamless flow of goods from the Far East and Europe to our client's 3PL partner. You'll work closely with suppliers, 3PL warehouse partners, and freight forwarders to ensure that every piece fits perfectly and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Follow Purchase Orders from factory to delivery!
- Keep informed of production schedules to ensure they are on target.
- Be the guardian of inventory records and replenishment.
- Work hand-in-hand with the 3PL partner to manage stock space, back orders, and delivery schedules.
- Partner with the freight forwarder to monitor goods flow by sea.
- 2-4 years in stock control, supply chain, or operations.
- Advanced Excel skills for real-time data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal skills to liaise across the supply chain.
- A proactive, ambitious self-starter with an eye for detail; great at identifying risk before it becomes a problem!
- Knowledge of shipping terms and documentation.
What we are offering:
- Starting salary £35,000 - £38,000 DOE
- Career progression to Supply Chain Manager
- 26 Days Holiday
- Hybrid working structure - three days office and two days remote
