Flourish Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join an independent SEN school based just outside Leamington Spa, rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted. This role involves supporting students with special educational needs, both in the classroom and in a unique outdoor learning environment.

The school caters to students aged 9-19 and is looking for someone who can build strong, trusting relationships and deliver targeted interventions, both one-to-one and in small groups, particularly for students with Autism.

This full-time position is set to begin after the Easter break and will continue until the end of the academic year. For the right candidate, there is potential for the role to be extended into the next academic year.

This SEND Teaching Assistant Job Role:

Supporting the Class Teacher with delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.

Working with a pupils across the school to promote their learning and development.

Providing one-to-one or group support to pupils with varying needs.

Preparing classroom resources and assisting with lesson planning.

Helping maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Collaborating with school staff to ensure a positive and productive school day.

Required Skills and experience for this SEND Teaching Assistant Role:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK Primary School.

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare, teaching assistance, or equivalent.

A solid understanding of the primary and secondary National Curriculum.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Strong experience supporting children with Autism

Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant with Flourish Education you will receive excellent benefits including:

 A competitive salary of £88.92 to £95 per day, which equates to £17,339.4 to £18,525 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
