Reed is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join the finance team of an award-winning Finance company based in Blackburn. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing financial information for the Financial Controller, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain precise records of income and expenditure, recording all transactions correctly.
  • Monitor and manage the in-house bespoke invoice system, including raising invoices and liaising with Franchisees to resolve issues.
  • Assist with the payroll process for the company’s franchisee network.
  • Update and manage data within the SAGE 200 system with high accuracy.
  • Maintain client records and files, ensuring all data is accurately entered into the company’s systems.
  • Handle telephone queries efficiently, providing excellent customer service.
  • Prepare reports and management information as requested by the Financial Controller.
  • Learn and understand FCA compliance rules and regulations.
  • Maintain policy and procedure manuals and handbooks.
  • Support fellow team members and departments to meet company/team goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Database management, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Sage.
  • A strong team player with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
