Primary School Administrator & Finance Assistant (Maternity Cover - May 2025 Start)

Veritas Education is working exclusively with a well-regarded Primary School seeking an experienced Administrator & Finance Assistant to join their team on a maternity cover basis from May 2025.

About the Role:
  • Position: School Administrator & Finance Assistant

  • Start Date: May 2025

  • Contract: Maternity Cover

  • Hours: Full-time or Part-time (flexibility to secure the best candidate)

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a team player who is dedicated, proactive, and has a growth mindset. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • School-based administration experience and a solid finance background

OR

  • Strong finance experience (for candidates without prior school experience)
  • A positive and adaptable approach to challenges
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing school administration processes

  • Supporting finance operations, including budgeting, invoicing & financial reporting

  • Handling attendance records and general office duties

  • Using school management systems (SIMS, Sage, or similar)
