A unique opportunity to work for one of the world’s leading suppliers of medical equipment for minimally invasive surgery.This is a great role for someone who has an interest in the field of medicine, coupled with a natural ability to provide excellent customer service.To strengthen their team, our client has a vacancy for an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist to be based at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, Lancashire.The main responsibility of this role is to provide on-site, hands-on client support of medical devices (including endoscopes, instruments and video equipment) for the role's assigned clients within a hospital or surgical facility.You will be working with with our client's Operating Department and associated clinical areas, including surgeons and theatre staff.The OES will improve quality by making sure the equipment is always available and fully functional, facilitate training to all levels of staff as required.Implementing quality improvements and continuously assure the highest standards are maintained.Qualifications, skills and experience must include:
  • Healthcare or Technical qualification or experience desirable
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

  About You:
  • Experience of working in a hospital setting is not essential, but you must be able to demonstrate having successfully worked in a collaborative, service-oriented team environment.
  • A comprehensive training program will be provided, but experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage.
  • A healthcare or technical qualification or relevant experience would be desirable, or a relevant science or medical degree.
