Your new companyYou will be working for a local government body, based in the centre of Blackburn.Your new roleAs an Executive Assistant at Board Level, you'll be required to work on a part-time basis, 3 days per week - hybrid working is available.The company you'll be working for has 2-3 large meetings per month that require minute taking. These meetings take place from around 6pm-8pm (2-3 times per month) - they could be executive board meetings, full council meetings or scrutiny meetings. All meetings are face to face, and you will be required to attend, to minute take.You will be expected to look after the following:Setting agendasPublishing them on websites, as all information is in the public domainMinute takingDistributing minutesSetting up conference roomsDealing with ad hoc requestsProject work, where requiredWhat you'll need to succeedTo succeed, you will be required to have a wealth of experience within Executive Assistance roles, within a public sector setting - ideally, having a council/education background.You will be required to have good experience in minute taking, diary keeping, setting agendas and project work.To succeed, it is imperative that you are able to attend the 2-3 meetings per month from 6pm-8pm.This is a high level Executive Assistant role. With hybrid working available, this is a 20-25 hour contract, spread across 3 days per week. You will be paid every Friday. Initially, this is an ongoing, temporary role.
