- Manage a caseload of clinical negligence files, under supervision, dealing effectively with cases and transactions.
- Manage time recording, WIP monitoring and billing consistently, meeting targets and objectives set.
- Deal directly with clients to take instructions and ensuring full understanding in order to deliver on client expectations
- Research and draft articles and assist with the production of marketing materials.
- Begin to develop a network of clients, contacts and potential referrers and attend networking events
- Encourage juniors/ trainees, provide feedback to assist their learning, effectively delegating tasks where appropriate
- Understand, learn and apply all business processes applicable to own work learning new processes as required.
- Perform fee earning work accurately, reliably and in accordance with the firm’s quality and risk management procedures [Lexcel].
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Highly experience within claimant Clinical Negligence law.
- Ability to manage own files with minimal supervision.
- Strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service.
- Organised and able to effectively prioritise.
- Self-sufficient.
- Experience of using a case management system, preferably Proclaim.
- Knowledge and understanding of GDPR and Equality Standards
