You'll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring equipment runs at peak performance while minimising downtime.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical faults on production machinery.
  • Assist with equipment installations and continuous improvement projects.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure production targets are met.

Skills Required for the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Bias: Electrical or mechanical, with a strong understanding of maintenance engineering.
  • Qualifications: A recognised engineering qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
