Salary: £42,000 - £46,000
Shift: Monday to Friday (Mixture of Early, Late and Night Shifts)
Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical or mechanical bias? Do you thrive in fast-paced manufacturing environments where no two days are the same? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. You'll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring equipment runs at peak performance while minimising downtime.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical faults on production machinery.
- Assist with equipment installations and continuous improvement projects.
- Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure production targets are met.
Skills Required for the Maintenance Engineer:
- Bias: Electrical or mechanical, with a strong understanding of maintenance engineering.
- Qualifications: A recognised engineering qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
